Letter reporting upon his meeting with Col. Cordero y Bustamante, military and political governor of the Province of Coahuila. Cordero is gathering cavalry at the Presidio de San Antonio de Bexar in response to a report of hostile Anglo-Americans at Nachitochis (Nacogdoches, Texas). He asks Herrera for men and supplies.
